Wills and Trusts
Texas Living Wills and Trusts Attorneys
At Ritchey & Marbut, L.L.P., much of our work focuses on planning for the future. Whether those plans involve child custody, child support, or modifications of decrees, we help clients anticipate issues in these areas that might arise in the future. We provide the same forward-looking approach when helping clients prepare for end-of-life circumstances. We draft simple wills and trusts, and other documents that spell out our clients' wishes for their family before and after their death. For more information on how we can help you make your wishes known, contact a wills and trusts lawyer at our Austin, Texas law firm, Ritchey & Marbut, L.L.P.
We Help Clients Plan for the Future
In addition to drafting a will that outlines an individual's plan for distributing his or her property after death, we also help people select and name guardians for their minor children. As part of helping clients anticipate the future, we prepare Health Care Advance Directives, living wills, powers of attorney, HIPPA authorizations, and other documents that detail a client's wishes about how they want to be treated when they become seriously ill and unable to decide such matters for themselves. These documents also name individuals authorized to act for them in such circumstances. These documents can help prevent the guesswork and conflict that arises over trying to determine the wishes of a seriously ill or deceased family member.
Our Wills and Trusts Clients
We welcome any of our family law clients to this aspect of our practice. Of course, we will be pleased to help new clients prepare a will, an advance directive, or power of attorney. Contact our Austin law firm to learn more about our legal services that help people plan for the future.
